Color Picker Option

The Color Picker Option in the Sellio Product Options app allows customers to select any custom color using a color picker tool. This is ideal for products where customers want full flexibility to choose any color beyond predefined options.

It provides a simple and interactive way to let users visually pick a color for customization.

A Color Picker Option displays a color selection tool where customers can choose any color using a palette or color code.

Example:

Choose Your Color

Basic Configuration

• Display Name

This is the label visible on the product page.
Example: Choose Your Color

• Unique Name

Internal identifier used for backend operations.
Example: color_picker

• Tooltip

Displays additional information when hovered.
Example: Select your preferred color

• Help Text

Shown below the option to guide customers.
Example: Pick any color you like

Advanced Settings

• Class & ID

Used for custom styling or tracking via CSS/JS.

• Schedule Option

Control when the option is visible:

• Start Time

• End Time

Use Case:
Enable color customization during specific campaigns or product availability.

• One-Time Charge

When enabled, the color selection charge is applied only once per product, even if the quantity is more than one.

Example:
Custom color charge = $5
Product quantity = 3
? Total charge = $5 (not $15)

Pricing Options

The Color Picker Option supports flexible pricing similar to other options:

• No Charge
  Free color selection

• Create Charge (Fixed Price)
  Example: Custom Color = $5

• Link Existing Product/Variant
  Link existing Shopify variant/product with the Option value 

• Percentage-Based Price
  Example: 10% of product price

• Multiplication-Based Price
  Price multiply with the Product base price. Example: 2x of product price

Selection Behavior

• Customers can pick any color from the palette

• Selected color is captured as a color value (HEX/RGB)

• Works well with custom product previews or printing workflows
