Number Field Option

The Number Field option in the Sellio Product Options App allows customers to enter numeric values directly on the product page. This is useful when you need inputs like age, quantity, measurements, custom counts, or numeric preferences.

How to Create a Number Field Option

Navigate to:

App Dashboard → Create Option → Select “Number Field”

Then configure the option using the available settings.

Field Settings Explained

Display Name

This is the label shown to customers.

Examples:

• Enter Age

• Quantity Required

• Custom Length (cm)

• Number of Guests

Unique Name

A unique internal identifier.

• Used for backend tracking

• Not visible to customers

• Must be unique

Tooltip

Provides additional guidance on hover.

Example:

Please enter a valid number.

Help Text

Displayed below the field.

Example:

Only numeric values are allowed.

Option Type

Fixed as Number Field and cannot be changed after creation.

Advanced Settings

1. Custom Class & ID

Assign:

• Class

• ID

Useful for:

• Custom styling

• JavaScript validation

• Advanced integrations

2. Schedule Options

Control when the option is visible:

• Start Time

• End Time

(All times are based on UTC unless store timezone is enabled.)

3. One-Time Charge Option

“Add one option per line item”

When enabled:

• Charge is applied only once per product

• Even if product quantity is more than 1

4. Placeholder

Provide a sample input.

Example:

• your age

• enter quantity

• 0

5. Character Limit

Define the maximum number of digits allowed.

Option Values

You can define a Character Limit here

Example:

• Value: 2

Means users can add up to 2 digit number. 

Pricing Configuration

The Number Field supports multiple pricing models:

1. No Price

No additional charge for numeric input.

2. Custom Price

Set a fixed price.

Example: ₹50 extra

4. Use Existing Variant/Product

Link existing Shopify variant/product. 

5. Percentage-Based Price

Charge based on product price.

Example:

• 10% of ₹1000 → ₹100

6. Multiplication-Based Price

Dynamic pricing based on product price.

Example:

• Price × 0.5

• ₹1000 → ₹500
